Design a product to mount houseware products to a surface without risking damage to the product materials

PROJECT GOAL

Create a poster clip that protects the paper from adhesive damage without distracting from the poster’s design

DESIGN INTENT

The first challenge was figuring out a safe securing method for the poster to ensure it stayed in place without damaging the poster itself

Small magnets inset into the top and bottom pieces of the clip keep the poster from sliding, but their small size prevents long-term damage such as crimping

POSTER BUDDY

Poster Buddy comes as a set of four corner clips comprised of a poster base and a security top, each inset with three 1/16” magnets

The clip itself comes in a series of materials and colors based on user preference to ensure personalization and user satisfaction
